About Betsy

Betsy integrates post modern, psychodynamic/analytical, cognitive behavioral, internal family systems and emotional-neural relational modalities into her practice. She draws upon eastern philosophies, neuroscience and depth psychologies which all emphasize holistic and relational perspectives. 

Betsy welcomes a diverse population facing challenges including anxiety, depression, developmental and life transitions, parenting, identity development, inter/intrapersonal concerns, committed and marital relationships, complex grief, trauma and secondary issues from medical challenges such as auto-immune. 

Betsy is committed to tailoring therapy for her clients. She currently works with individuals and couples in all stages of life, as well as children and adolescents.

Betsy is a CA Licensed  Marriage and Family Therapist #148334.  She received her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy with a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Specialization, from Pacific Oaks School of Cultural Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology from Clark University. She has completed additional education and training  in psychoanalytical/dynamic depth psychology, relational psychoanalytical couples approaches,  self-psychology, early childhood development-play therapy, neural relational framework,  parenting life skills, Jungian sand tray training,
